International Women’s Day 2021: Women in Leadership
This year the global UN Women theme for International Women’s Day is “Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”.
This event celebrates the efforts of women and girls around the world who have worked towards a more equal future, including the recovery from COVID-19. The focus will be on women who work in the sector providing advice, guidance and inspiration to their counterparts globally. The event will host speakers who will share their experience, knowledge and reflections on the challenges and support that made a difference in their journey to leadership.
The panel discussion will be followed by small-group networking with the panelists, other guest speakers and participants.
The event is a collaboration between ACFID and Women in Aid and Development.
