Room 2.20, Building 5 University of Technology Sydney 1 Quay Street Haymarket NSW ACFID Sexual Rights in Development Community of Practice Calendar Register

ACFID’s recently revised Code of Conduct places explicit responsibility on all members to recognise, and respond to, intersecting drivers of inequality and marginalisation: including drivers related to gender identity, sexuality and sexual orientation.

The personal, institutional and implementation challenges and opportunities of this revision to the Code will be explored in this one-day workshop.

Following on from an event held in Melbourne in August, the workshop will bring together representatives of secular and faith-based organisations for cross-learning and reflection.

This workshop is the third and final stage in an action research project being implemented by the ACFID Sexual Rights in Development Community of Practice, with the support of ACFID and the Research for Development Impact Network.

The workshop is free to attend, and you can register via Eventbrite here.

If you are from a faith-based organisation, please consider also joining the reflection workshop for faith-based organisations being held on 20 August in Melbourne.
