Organised by EcoSummit Foundation and Elsevier, the EcoSummit 2021 is an annual event that has been postponed until the 14-18 June 2021. In June 2021, the summit will be held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre, Queensland.

The summit’s theme is Building a Sustainable and Desirable Future: Adapting to a Changing Land and Seascape.

It will be a forum for scientists, practitioners and policy makers working across disciplines to solve the integrated environmental, social and economic problems facing the world today. Particular attention will be paid to coastal and marine ecosystems, including adjacent terrestrial ecosystems and all the habitats that are integrated within those ecosystems, including river networks, wetlands and catchments.

Further focus will be placed on fragile systems that are more likely to suffer the consequences of climate change and anthropogenic pressure such as islands, coastal communities and arid landscapes.

Conference Speakers have been announced including Honorary Speaker Ms. Sylvia Earle, President and Chairman, Mission Blue / The Sylvia Earle Alliance.

To participate and submit relevant abstracts, find more information here. Submission due 30 October 2020.
