What is Development Futures Thinking? It is essentially the powers of foresight and looking towards the horizon. During 2020 and 2021, the RDI Network worked with two futurists to create a higher level of conversation and broader level understanding of development effectiveness. Together with RDI Network members, workshops and webinars were convened to be a catalyst for change in development thinking, discourse, and ideology.
Here RDI Network members can access case studies, tools and templates for:
- Scenario planning strategies to discuss, debate and plan for changing futures of development.
- Different development futures based upon the ideas from a diverse range of workshop participants
- Building and sharing skills for trend identification and visioning of potential futures
