Readiness. Security. Transparency.

The Second Urban Resilience Asia Pacific Conference (URAP2) is a joint collaboration with the 13th annual Geographic Information for Disaster Management (GI4DM) conference and the New South Wales Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute, sharing the title of ‘Climate change and disaster management: technology and resilience in a troubled world’.

While the challenges are daunting, approaches, tools, understandings and practices are constantly evolving. Within the overall theme of urban resilience, this conference aims to explore three issues in particular – readiness, security and transparency – in relation to crises.

Hosting between December 3-4 by the Faculty of Built Environment, University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney in association with the Australia Pacific Security College at Australian National University (ANU), Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, ARUP and SEEDS India.

The second conference will be held online. Online attendance is free.
