Building from the success of the 2018 Summit, SBCC 2021 aims to harness the power of people and potential change around some of the world’s most pressing challenges of poverty, gender equality and protecting the planet. SBCC global actors will convene and examine the most recent evidence and innovations, build on diverse methodologies, debate ways forward and highlight successes and challenges.
This Summit promises to be the biggest one yet, exploring the vast potential and diversity of the field under the theme Strength in Diversity, across disciplines, development priorities and geographies with development actors. It is intended to accelerate action towards achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Further discussions will centre on Catalysing Transformational Change on Agendas of Urgency, Future Forward and Connecting the Dots.
Hosted by a consortium of international and local partners, including John Hopkins CCP, UNICEF, The Center for Public Health Practice (CPHP) – Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) of American University of Beirut (AUB), Soul City Institute for Social Justice, Digital Green, Social Change Factory, Puntos de Encuentro and RTS Group.
This is one event not to miss.
