The first quarter of 2024 has been an intensive period of consolidation for the RDI Network. The successful transition to independence in 2023 as a not-for-profit Public Company Limited by Guarantee was a demanding, exciting and important change. Much has been happening behind the scenes.
- RDI Network’s Directors and Voting Members gathered on Friday 14 June, 2024 for the first Annual General Meeting of RDI Network Limited. Now that the newly independent RDI Network has secured support for our next annual conference and several key projects, we have a growing list of news and opportunities to share with our network of development practitioners, academics, and partners. Our website, newsletter and social media channels will be refreshed over the coming months with more news and information. The recruitment of at least five more voting committee members will begin soon with request for Expressions of Interest.

- Earlier this year RDI Network Limited secured a grant with DFAT to support the 2025 Annual Conference. We are also collaborating with DFAT to design and deliver four hybrid seminars to DFAT staff around the region. Insights from the series will be shared with members later this year. Topics will include:
– Valuing Local Partnerships
– GEDSI
– Valuing Evidence
– Climate Change and Resilience - RDI Network is currently working with the Knowledge Partnership Platform Australia – Indonesia (KONEKSI) to co-design workshops, training materials and resources to support KONEKSI Grantees deliver partnerships, GEDSI and impact.
