The RDI Committee is pleased to introduce their newest member to the Network, following the outcome a recent open application process to fill a vacancy for an academic member.
Associate Professor Kurt Seemann will join the RDI Committee to fill an interim vacancy as an academic representative, as a representative of Swinburne University.
Kurt is the Director of the Centre for Design Innovation (CDI) at Swinburne University, which was established to respond to increasing market demand for strategic and transformative design and development. Kurt has a strong background in research and grant project leadership, and his current research focus addresses the relationship between people, technology and the environment as a complex adaptive system.
Swinburne University was welcomed as an interim affiliate member of ACFID earlier this month.
The RDI Committee provides strategic oversight and direction on activities undertaken through the RDI Network in meeting its objectives. The Committee will undertake a further round of academic nominations in mid-2017.
