RDI Committee: Call for NGO representative nominees

Members of the RDI Committee and Secretariat meeting in September 2018

The Research for Development Impact (RDI) Network is calling for expressions of interest (EoIs) for NGO members of the RDI Committee – the governance body for the Network. There are up to six NGO representative positions up for election to join the RDI Committee for a three year term.

The RDI Committee provides a leadership and strategic oversight role for the Program driven by the RDI Network and its members. It forms a respected cross-sector voice in the international development sector in Australia, with access to significant policy and practice fora and dialogues.

Committee members will participate in regular meetings and provide guidance to a small secretariat team. Nominees should demonstrate an active knowledge of and interest in advancing the role of research and evidence in development practice and policy.

To be eligible for this round, nominees must be employed by an NGO that is an ACFID member, and are expected to have the full support of their organisation or institution in their role as Committee member.

Please read the details contained in the call for expressions of interest [PDF] prior to making an application. This call closes at COB Wed 16th January 2019.

Completed expressions of interest, as well as any questions about this opportunity, should be directed to Philippa Smales, Network and Partnerships Manager .
