- Are you an experienced academic or NGO practitioner actively engaged in the field of international development?
- Are you committed to seeing research influence development policy and practice?
You can contribute to the strategic leadership and oversight of the RDI Network and its activities by nominating to join the RDI Committee.
Committee terms operate on a three-year, staggered rotation, with elections for half of the Committee taking place every 18 months. The Network is currently calling for Expressions of Interest (EoIs) for nominations to fill six university representative positions and one NGO representative position. Committee members can complete a maximum of two terms on the Committee, and positions must be filled by staff from current ACFID Full or Affiliate members.
Committee members contribute significantly to steering the Network’s growth, and gain the opportunity to engage closely with Government, academia and NGOs to advance the role of research and evaluation in development policy and practice.
Expressions of Interest must be submitted by COB on Friday 11 August. To apply, please read the Call for Expressions of Interest [PDF] and follow the application instructions included.
