Program released for RDI Conference 2019

The program for the RDI Conference 2019 has been released.

The RDI Network, La Trobe University and the organising committee have developed a dynamic two-day program, for researchers and practitioners of international development to come together to explore what leadership is and what leadership does in the field of international development.

The exploratory sessions take a broad look at leadership for inclusive development, including papers based on women’s leadership, leadership and disability, organisational change and fostering new leaders. There are also a diverse set of panels, roundtables and workshops that look at leadership in the tropics, Pacific-led development, and the role of knowledge partnerships.

There are also a range of side events; including the Communications for Development Roundtable
Leading Inclusive Development using Media and Communication. This roundtable provides a platform for international development actors involved or interested in Communication for Development (C4D) work to share experiences, lessons learned and recommendations that can contribute to an improved practice. Find out how to get involved in the Roundtable on Day 1 of the Conference here.

Registrations for the conference are now open. Tickets for the conference dinner and a special Student Forum can also be purchased separately to the conference package.
