Coming out of COVID-19 lockdowns means we have the unique opportunity to present a new platform for our first 2021 conference. For the first time ever, we will be delivering a hybrid conference! This means that you can now join us both in person and fully online for this 2-day event and Student Forum.
The conference has the theme, Pathways through disruption – the future of sustainable development and recovery in the Pacific and Southeast Asia, and we invite consultants, practitioners, and students to submit an abstract, proposal, or creative side-event.

This event is co-hosted by The University of Queensland (UQ) and will showcase research, initiatives, and innovations for the future of sustainable development and socio-economic recovery in the Pacific and Southeast Asia Regions.
The conference is a flagship cross-sector series recognised as one of the key events in the Australian aid and development sector. The conference is designed to create a forum that will support greater collaboration between researchers and practitioners in international development from across Australia and the region. It will also be an excellent networking opportunity and to connect with others working on similar or relevant research.
