At a time when RDI Network is growing our membership and regional engagement, we are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our Board of Directors. We are looking for individuals committed to ethical development research and knowledge sharing in Australia and the region.
As a Director, you will help shape the strategic direction of the network, leveraging your expertise in research, evaluation, policy, and practice to achieve our objectives, including brokering connections, influencing development practice, promoting locally led research, and ensuring organisational sustainability.
Directors provide advisory and advocacy support, advance partnerships, and advise the secretariat on emerging issues. Applicants from Australia as well as the region are strongly encouraged to apply.

Specifically, we are currently seeking expressions of interest from individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas to fill up to 3 current vacancies:
- Strong governance and strategic leadership experience
- Well-established networks across NGO, government, philanthropy and university sectors and a commitment to social impact
- CPA/CA accreditation or equivalent financial expertise
- Previous Legal or Company Secretary experience
- Public fundraising, philanthropy, membership business models
- Business Development, Partnerships expertise
We seek candidates with an understanding of development research, experience in stakeholder management, passion for capacity building and knowledge sharing, and a desire to advocate for positive change. Previous engagement with the RDI Network or similar networks is a plus.
