The Right Honorable Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand and former Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme, will present the opening keynote address at the RDI Conference 2017.
Helen Clark is esteemed as a pioneer in women’s global leadership, and offers a wealth of experience and in-depth understanding of sustainable development from her eight year tenure with the UNDP. In one of her first public appearances since stepping down from her role as UNDP Administrator in April, she will challenge and inspire participants to extend their vision for transformative partnerships and collaborations.
The conference will take place on 13-14 June in Sydney, and is co-hosted by the RDI Network and the University of Sydney.
Ms Clark will contribute to a dynamic and engaging program of presentations and sessions, offering her own response to the conference theme of Partnering for Impact on Sustainable Development: collaboration, coordination and solidarity. With over 50 speakers on the conference program, including a melange of practitioners, academics and those who work across those boundaries, the Conference will provide a unique space to explore how partnerships across sectors can produce real impact.
