TropAg2017 is the world’s leading tropical agriculture event bringing the best in research and innovation across, plant, animal, and food science. This year’s theme is High impact science to nourish the world. The conference themes focus on science for developed and developing countries to sustainably grow and produce nutritious food to meet the future challenge of feeding the world’s rapidly growing population – particularly in tropical regions. Four out of every ten people alive on earth today live in the tropics and by 2050, 60% of the world’s children will be living in a tropical part of the world.
The biennial TropAg conference is the premier event for researchers, investors, agribusiness professionals, policy makers, agricultural technicians, producers and students dealing with the many challenges for agriculture and food production in tropical and sub-tropical food systems.
