The Directors of RDI Network Limited have welcomed Dr Lis Jackson to the Board.
A Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Human Security and Social Change at La Trobe University, Lis brings with her deep and broad sector experience in research and evaluation for development. She is an accomplished collaborator and has many long-established relationships with colleagues and partners across the Southeast and Pacific. Lis has widely published research and evidence-based analysis and commentary in academic journals as well as professional news and analysis media platforms.
In appointing Dr Jackson, the Board acknowledged the extensive experience, ideas, energy and networks she brings to the role.

Dr Elisabeth (Lis) Jackson is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Human Security and Social Change at La Trobe University where she conducts research and evaluation for development programs in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, with a focus on gender and social inclusion. Lis spent almost 10 years managing development programs in Indonesia in the areas of governance, civil society development, public policy reform, and education. A common thread across her research and development work is an interest in how leadership, power and politics shape social change. She is also interested in how evidence is used to improve development practice. Lis has a PhD in Indonesian Studies and a Master of Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development from ANU and a Graduate Certificate in Evaluation from the University of Melbourne.
